Shift Levers

Applications: MCP offers many shift lever designs and component parts. Custom designs can be made to fit most applications at little or no extra cost. Levers can be manufactured from pipe, tubing, flat or solid rod. The above drawings show standard designs.

Components: shift knobs, welded parts, bushings and other standard items can be combined to arrive at the best design for your application. For example, tabs are designed to mate with our yoke products.

Machining: levers can be machined in accordance with MCP capabilities (i.e., metric threads, drilled, etc).

Grease Fitting: MCP standard fittings are available upon request.

Cost Savings Tip: in designing a shift lever, design the tab, housing and bearing assembly first, working closely with our sales engineers to make use of standard materials when possible. Then specify the lever (custom designs are our specialty).
